You may know that I am a proud Ambassador with the RAARE Woman Collective, having attended the live launch of this unprecedented program in November. One of the things that I, along with more than 130 women, now understand is that at this point, racial equity has less to do with social justice and the “right thing to do”, and more to do with the economic realities that we must create for the United States of America through the dilution of racism. Quite frankly, this is a reality that women, white women specifically, are uniquely positioned to usher in.
The RAARE Woman Collective racial equity program suite prepares, teaches supports, encourages, and coaches white women to advance racial equity throughly and comprehensively. Not only are we giving the tools, language, and approaches necessary to do this work well, Nikki Lanier, RAARE’s Founder, has curated a community of women from all around the world, who are all leaning into this framework and model.
And the best part is, she and her team are headed our way.
Join me and Nikki in San Francisco on January 15th from 9am-noon at the beautiful Ciel Creative Space in Berkeley.
